
Life on the Farm is pretty much
24-7. Vacations are out of the question unless of course someone is willing
to assume the responsibility of "chores".
Out to the Barn

Grain Horses in the barn as marked on stall charts
Ruby, Lady, Sonny, Tammy, Ahna, Kate,Molly, & Dusty
(the mini pony)
Fill Water Tank ( West Side of the Barn)
Turn Slip Stall Horses Out
Double 'R' Classic
Belgian Stallion
water in his tub
3 sections of hay in his manger
Grain as written on stall guide
Box Stall Horses
Turn out in Small Paddock on East Side
Place a bale of hay in manger
Fill Water Tank
Check hay supply for Center Paddock
Niner, Honey, & Sliver
3 quarter horses
fill water tank on South side of Party Room
1 scoop grain for the chickens
Be sure to close gates, check electric fencer, clean
stalls/add bedding if necessary, close the barn doors, and observe that everyone
is eating!
Evening 5:00 PM
Put grain in tie stall mangers before letting the horses
into the barn. Stall charts indicate rations.
Let horses in 2 at a time. Tie them up.
Close West Paddock gate and turn Stallion out for several
hours.
put feed in his stall as indicated on stall chart.
fill his water tub
clean his stall.
bring him back in. ( always use
a lead shank)
Round bales of hay put out with the skid loader every
other day. (always use shoulder harness)
2 round bales in the large feed lot
1 bale in the tire feeder in thecenter
feed lot
Feed the chickens!
Don't forget to feed & water the cows!!
That's It!
...of
course there's the general fix it and maintenance... also, cutting, raking and
making hay the months of
June, July, August, and September.
We
have to have at least 100 tons of hay to feed this hungry bunch!
so...
No Wonder no one wants to include
us in a time share!!!
